The Deeping's Camera Club is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great
Britain through the East Anglian Federation of Photographic societies, and is also member
of the North East Midlands Photographic Federation and the Lincolnshire Photographic
Association. The Deeping's are a small group of adjacent towns/villages in South Lincolnshire (UK)The Club was formed in 1985 by a small group of keen amateur photographers. Meetings were held once a fortnight. Since then we have grown to around 60 members. Meetings are now held every Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. between September and May. A Digital Group also meets on the third Monday of the month. A widely varied program of competitions, lectures and practical demonstrations cater for everyone, from beginner to the more advanced. The club regularly takes part in interclub competitions and exhibitions and has an excellent record of success.. A number of our members are successful national and international Exhibitors, and visit other clubs to judge or lecture. Most of us have now entered the Digital age, and have abandoned the conventional darkroom in favour of the PC and PhotoShop. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
